Job Description Roadway Designers
Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Peoria, IL
Offered Salary: $85,925 - $92,500
Expect to perform a key role on roadway and intersection design projects; perform engineering calculations, utilize computer software for analysis and design, and work efficiently with other team members for project completion; learn and perform roadway geometric design, roadside safety design, and maintenance of traffic design; assist in project activities such as site investigations and field reconnaissance, permit application and processing assistance, utility locations, pavement designs, storm water management design, 3D computer modelling, construction document preparation, and construction cost estimates; collaborate with licensed senior technical staff. 10-25% domestic travel required. Multiple openings.
Requirements Must have a master's degree in civil engineering or a related field. Must have completed coursework in the following: Advanced CADD; Urban Transportation Planning; Project and Company Management; Advanced Construction Scheduling; Building Information Modeling; Advanced Construction Estimating; Advanced Construction Practice.
