Your role and responsibilities
As a Technical Consultant in Cloud Platform Engineering Services, you will be responsible for the acquisition and integration of Taos by IBM into OPES Practices. This role requires the creation of a new skill taxonomy to support the offerings and skills inherited from Taos.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Develop New Skill Taxonomy: Create a comprehensive skill taxonomy that aligns with the acquired offerings and skills from Taos, ensuring seamless integration into OPES Practices.
• Integrate Taos Offerings: Drive the integration of Taos by IBM into existing OPES Practices, leveraging deep expertise in cloud platform engineering services to ensure successful adoption.
• Define Support Strategies: Establish strategies for supporting the new skill taxonomy and integrated offerings, ensuring effective delivery of cloud platform engineering services to clients.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Cloud Platform Engineering Expertise: Deep expertise in cloud platform engineering services, with a strong understanding of offerings and skills related to Taos by IBM.
• Skill Taxonomy Development Experience: Experience with creating comprehensive skill taxonomies that support the integration of new offerings and skills into existing practices.
• Integration and Adoption Experience: Experience driving the integration of new offerings into existing practices, with a focus on successful adoption and delivery of cloud platform engineering services.
• Strategic Planning and Support: Experience establishing strategies for supporting new skill taxonomies and integrated offerings, ensuring effective delivery of cloud platform engineering services to clients.
• Technical Leadership: Experience leading technical initiatives and providing expertise in cloud platform engineering services to drive business outcomes.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Cloud Platform Engineering Knowledge: Deep understanding of cloud platform engineering services beyond Taos by IBM, including competing offerings and industry trends.
• Skill Taxonomy Enhancement: Experience with evolving and refining existing skill taxonomies to accommodate emerging technologies and service offerings.
