The Digital Sales Marketing Planner will support the Digital Account Managers and sales team by taking ownership of digital and linear reporting. This role will create custom marketing solutions and sponsorship decks for NBCU Local Chicago's sellers and advertisers. This role will assist with sales marketing special initiatives like event planning.
JOB DUTIES:
Create client facing slide decks for cross-platform sales opportunities and initiatives, and end of campaign recaps
Own reporting for digital and linear sales campaigns
Maintain a strong working knowledge of NBCU products to be able to make recommendations to AEs and clients
Work with all internal departments (Digital, Sales, Traffic, Marketing, Management, etc.) on cross functional projects. Ensure sponsorship elements are clearly laid out in an organized and professional way
Execute digital sweepstakes, social amplification campaigns and other custom content
Work with content teams to stay up to date on their initiatives and make sales recommendations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Strong computer skills especially in Power Point, Excel, and Word
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated project management skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
High energy and teamwork mentality a must

DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
Sales Media Industry experience
Minimum one (1) year of experience at a media company in media sales or experience in a client service role
Knowledge of Wide Orbit and Sales Force
Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with broad range of internal and external clients
A strong ability to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary range: $62,000 - $70,000.
