Residential Loan Processor

Loan Processor Department/Location: Residential Loan Department/TBD Employee Reports To: Residential Loan Manager FLSA: Hourly; Non-Exempt position Status: Full-Time 80 hours Rate of Pay: Grade 16 /$21.93 - $32.25 an hour Summary/Objectives: The Loan Processor/Assistant processes residential loan applications while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements before the loan is sent to underwriting and closing. This position works closely with the Loan Officer (LO), Underwriters, Title/Escrow, Closers, and customers providing exceptional customer service to deliver a smooth loan process from start to finish. Essential Job Functions: Perform a thorough review and analysis of borrower's credit, employment, income, and assets before submitting to underwriting. Organize and maintain files within approved bank software. Order required reports and documents. Work to complete all conditions for final loan approval and obtain final insurance documentation for loan closing. Ensure documents are following all policy/regulatory requirements. Submit to borrower final approved appraisal and flood notice. Assists Loan Officers (LO) with rate lock procedures. Request, review and balance all receipts for pre-paid items on CBD. Maintain weekly processing pipeline spreadsheet. Maintain the complete loan file throughout entire origination process. Ensuring the loan file is complete and in proper order before sending it to underwriting. Order 442 final inspections. Stay up to date and maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal lending disclosure requirements. Provide support to team members as needed and assist Residential Loan leadership with assigned tasks as needed. All other related duties as assigned. Qualifications

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of loan processing experience or 3 years of customer service experience in a high-volume work environment Knowledge of requirements applicable to various mortgage lending programs Ability to maintain production standards Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products. Experience working with automated loan processing and underwriting systems. Experience or training in lending is desirable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Exceptional communication skills are both written and verbal. Knowledge and understanding of bank products and services with an emphasis on loan products. Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines.
