Business Development Specialist

The PCA Group of Companies is looking for a motivated Business Development Specialist to help identify and develop new brand partnerships across beauty, skincare, fragrance, wellness, and consumer product brands. This role focuses on brand sourcing, partnership development, and market research, helping expand our distribution, e-commerce, and logistics partnerships with emerging and established brands. What You'll Do Brand Sourcing & Lead Generation Identify and research emerging brands across beauty, skincare, fragrance, wellness, and consumer products Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email, networking, and trade shows Build and maintain a pipeline of potential brand partners Partnership Development Develop relationships with brand founders, executives, and sales leaders Assist with partnership discussions and opportunity evaluation Support presentations and partnership proposals Pipeline & CRM Management Track outreach, communications, and opportunities in CRM systems Maintain accurate records of brand interactions and pipeline progress Provide regular opportunity updates to leadership Market & Industry Research Monitor industry trends, retail developments, and emerging brands Identify new product categories aligned with PCA's distribution capabilities Industry Engagement Attend trade shows, brand events, and networking opportunities Represent PCA professionally in meetings and brand discussions Qualifications Required Experience Experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, Brand Sourcing, or Account Development Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Technical Skills Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) CRM systems and lead tracking tools LinkedIn and professional networking platforms Preferred Experience Beauty, fragrance, skincare, fashion, or consumer product industries Experience with retail, wholesale, or e-commerce distribution models Exposure to logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain operations Experience attending industry trade shows or networking events Education Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Work Environment This role is full-time and in-office in Ronkonkoma, NY. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for trade shows or industry events.
