Serves in DLA Human Resources, Training as project officer and senior subject matter expert for a variety of initiatives, projects, programs, and policies.\nAssists the Training Director, Deputy Director, and Training Division Chief in the creation and implementation of enterprise DLA Human Resource Development programs and objectives in training and workforce development.\nServes as action officer for the interpretation, coordination, and implementation of agency policies and procedures in the areas of training and career development.\nReviews training operations and requirements to determine actions needed to address problem areas and increase program effectiveness.\nAssesses new Department of Defense and Defense Logistics Agency requirements to determine impact on DLA Human Resource Development policies, plans, and procedures.\nDevelops new and modifies plans, programs, and procedures that result in significant changes in program operations which may serve as a basis for future guidelines.\nBriefs executive level management on Human Resource Development programs, projects, procedures, and policy initiatives.\nRequirements

To qualify for a Human Resources Specialist (Human Resource Development), your resume and supporting documentation must support:\nA. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:\nContributing analysis or research in the development or review of training policy or programs.\nAssisting with project management to establish, review, or alter workforce development or training programs.\nAssisting in the design of training programs to ensure alignment towards organizational goals or agency strategic plans\nExperience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
