Marketing Intern

We are looking for a Marketing Intern who can help identify opportunities, build connections, and coordinate outreach that places Drum in the right rooms. This role helps create the momentum that begins the flywheel. By researching organizations, supporting outreach, and coordinating speaking opportunities, you will help ensure Drum's voice is consistently placed in front of leaders, organizations, and potential partners. This is a great role for someone who enjoys research, communication, and relationship building, and who wants to learn how strategic marketing creates long-term business growth. What You'll Do
Identify Opportunities
Help discover places where Drum's ideas and expertise belong. Research organizations, associations, and leadership groups Identify conferences, workshops, and speaking opportunities Maintain a database of outreach opportunities and contacts Track potential partnerships and community connections Create Connections
Support outreach that opens doors to meaningful conversations. Introduce Drum's speaking topics and StoryBrand workshops to event organizers Communicate with leadership groups and community partners Help coordinate introductions and early conversations Support follow-ups that move opportunities forward Coordinate Engagements
Ensure opportunities turn into real conversations. Schedule speaking engagements and workshops Coordinate calendars and event logistics Track outreach progress and next steps Help manage communications with event organizers Capture Momentum
Help ensure each opportunity strengthens Drum's authority and visibility. Document events and capture photos or testimonials Coordinate with social media and SEO teams to share highlights Track outcomes and insights from speaking opportunities Help maintain records of community relationships and partnerships What Success Looks Like
Drum is regularly invited into conversations with leaders and organizations Speaking opportunities and workshops continue to grow Outreach efforts remain organized and consistent Each event strengthens Drum's visibility and authority Required Skills
