
AR Data Entry Clerk

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a client in the greater Manchester, NH area that is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Data Entry/Cash Application Clerk. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone with strong data entry skills and an interest in gaining hands-on accounting experience. The role will focus on posting payments, cash application, and supporting day-to-day accounts receivable functions.

Responsibilities
Post and apply customer payments including checks, ACH, EFT, credit cards, and money orders
Reconcile posted payments and assist with resolving account discrepancies
Process daily payment batches and assist with closing out batches at the end of the day
Upload invoices into customer payment portals
Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets used for customer accounts and reporting
Assist with mailing monthly statements to customers
Sort, organize, and file financial documents and payment records
Qualifications
Strong data entry skills with fast and accurate typing and 10-key proficiency
Basic understanding of accounting principles or accounts receivable processes
Ability to perform basic math calculations with accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to research discrepancies and resolve issues independently
Compensation is up to $20/hr. This client is motivated to interview and move quickly.
