Responsibilities of the Collections Specialist:

  • Manage a portfolio of past-due consumer accounts with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Conduct outbound collection calls and respond to inbound inquiries.
  • Use skip-tracing tools and creative problem-solving to locate hard-to-reach customers.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements in line with company policies.
  • Document all account activity thoroughly in the system.
  • Collaborate with team members and management to achieve collection goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local collection laws.

Preferred Qualifications for the Collections Specialist:

  • Proven experience in consumer collections (required).
  • Knowledge and practical experience with skip tracing methods (required).
