Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer Contract Role Hybrid (Phoenix, AZ)

A public sector health organization is seeking a

Senior Salesforce Developer

to join a highly skilled team of developers, business analysts, and quality assurance personnel. The Salesforce developer role supports a Licensing Management System (LMS) through developing new modules and enhancing existing functionality, as well as writing technical documentation, gathering requirements, and performing routine updates.

Working as part of a team, the developer will write, edit, and review Lightning Web Components and Apex code in a large and highly customized Salesforce environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a member of development teams using the Agile development process, while also being self-motivated and results-driven.

Knowledge of: Considerable working knowledge of multiple programming languages, database management systems, development platforms, and systems integration

Translating user requirements into business, functional, and test scenarios for projects of varying size and complexity

Developing and writing technical documentation

Evaluating information from multiple sources, consolidating details, and extracting functional requirements

Salesforce application development

Salesforce architecture and API

Writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers

HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C#, and SOAP-based web services

Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE)

Relational databases

Salesforce integration projects

Integrating Salesforce with other applications via real-time, batch, synchronous/asynchronous methods

Scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware, and other enterprise integration technologies Requirements:

Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years of Salesforce programming and development experience (or equivalent experience)

Salesforce Developer Certification required

Preference for candidates with Salesforce Architect experience Physical Requirements: The physical requirements for this office role include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours a day, and regularly operate standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Employees should be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and frequently perform tasks that require typing, writing, and document handling. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with adequate visual and auditory abilities to read materials and participate in meetings.
