UI Designer
to join for an approximate
3-month
project!
This role is hybrid; candidates must be in the
Seattle
area for onsite needs.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated
UI Designer
to support a design systems team focused on building and maintaining a centralized documentation site. This role is highly execution-focused and ideal for someone who takes pride in clear, well-structured content and strong visual quality. The UI Designer will work closely with designers and cross-functional partners to migrate, edit, and organize documentation for design system foundations, components, and patterns across multiple platforms. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistency, usability, and clarity across design resources used by a broader organization.
As a UI Designer, You Will
Migrate, edit, and format written content for design system foundations, components, and patterns across web and mobile platforms Create visual assets, diagrams, and annotated examples to clearly communicate design system elements and usage guidelines Maintain and update the design system documentation site to ensure content is accurate, consistent, and easy to navigate Audit existing documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and outdated information, and resolve or escalate as needed Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure documentation reflects current design standards and implementation Support the organization and structure of content to improve usability and findability across the documentation site Contribute to the development and improvement of documentation templates, standards, and workflows As an Applicant, You Bring
3-5 years of experience in UX design, visual design, content design, or a related field Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft and attention to detail Proficiency in Figma or similar modern design tools Strong written communication skills with the ability to write and edit clear, concise documentation Experience managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, communications, or equivalent professional experience Experience working with design systems, component libraries, or structured documentation preferred Familiarity with design tokens and component-based workflows preferred Experience designing for or documenting across multiple platforms such as web and mobile preferred Basic understanding of front-end concepts including HTML and CSS preferred Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles preferred Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system documentation site or wiki preferred Additional Position Details

Compensation
Pay Range:
$45.00 - $53.75 (Hourly)
The successful candidate's pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
Benefits:
Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
