Personal Banker
Under general supervision, the Personal Banker works independently to deliver an exceptional client service experience across a full range of banking products and services. This role is responsible for executing and supporting administrative and operational activities related to client accounts, transactions, and servicing needs. The Personal Banker interacts with clients in person, by phone, and via email to respond to inquiries, provide information, and support ongoing banking relationships. Key responsibilities include opening, maintaining, and servicing client accounts; executing money movement requests; preparing client materials and reports; resolving inquiries; and maintaining complete and accurate records. The role also focuses on identifying client needs, providing holistic guidance, and cross-selling appropriate products and services, while strictly adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of the business model and engage appropriate subject matter experts to identify potential opportunities and solutions for clients. Execute and submit client account servicing activities within established timeframes, including wires and fund transfers, account openings and closures, account maintenance, document imaging, and issue research. Proactively collaborate with Relationship Management and NCSS teams to obtain required information and ensure accurate execution of client requests. Process paying and receiving activities, including cash transactions, and perform daily balancing in accordance with operational standards. Maintain familiarity with and adherence to all Wealth Management Lobby Banking Operations policies and procedures. Assist with the maintenance and servicing of Safe Deposit Boxes, where applicable. Demonstrate expertise in setting up all types of client accounts and services, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant to avoid deficiencies. Maintain a strong working knowledge of banking policies, procedures, and compliance requirements, escalating issues or concerns to management as needed. Build and maintain proficiency in business applications and online tools critical to client and account servicing, staying current on system enhancements and new technologies. Stay informed on new products and services to effectively respond to client questions and support relationship growth. Monitor banking reports and assist with audits as directed by the Team Leader or Manager. Share deposit-area expertise and assist with training and knowledge transfer to team members, as assigned. Qualifications
Prior banking experience required. Strong knowledge of banking operations, products, and services. Understanding of federal regulations and banking guidelines, gained through work experience or formal training. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work Environment
