Insurance Representative
SportsMED is seeking a Medical Insurance Specialist with experience in denials from EOB's, and following up with insurance companies on claims. Candidate must be detail-oriented, focused, and have a knowledge of the revenue process. Interviews to begin immediately. 2 years of medical insurance experience is preferred. Orthopaedic coding experience is also preferred. Duties: Assisting patients in obtaining and understanding medical benefits Working AR Communication with medical insurance companies Communication with clinical staff members Updating EMR system Reviewing patient records Requirements: At least 1 year experience working in the medical field Basic understanding of medical terminology Strong communication skills
