Accounts Receivable Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities leading to the collection of accounts receivable that are delinquent, utilizing verbal and written communications with shopping center tenants as well as: Working closely with property managers, leasing managers, retailers and accountants. Contacting retail tenants on a daily basis for payment. Resolving delinquent payment issues. Sending out default notices. Reconciling retail tenant accounts, write offs etc. Generating various receivables reports. Providing bad debt recommendations. Requirements: College degree preferred. Reconciling of accounts receivable. Requires 2+ years experience in real estate. Excellent computer skills. Above average experience with MS Office and Excel. Excellent communication skills. Solid time management skills with ability to prioritize and successfully balance multiple tasks and requests. Self starter; able to work with minimal direction in a high pressure environment. Effective interpersonal and organizational skills. Accounting and JD Edwards knowledge a plus.
