Division Laboratory Director

New Division Laboratory Director Opportunity - Nashville, TN Full-Time Days No Weekends We are seeking an experienced, strategic laboratory leader to oversee multi-site hospital lab operations within a large healthcare division. This executive-level role drives operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and service line strategy across multiple facilities. Key Responsibilities

Lead and assess division-wide laboratory operations

Partner with Division Presidents, CFOs, CEOs, and Medical Directors

Manage financial performance, budgeting, and variance analysis

Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness

Optimize test menus, vendor utilization, outreach profitability, and billing compliance

Implement process improvements and operating model enhancements

Develop and mentor high-performing laboratory directors

Qualifications

Bachelor s in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science (required)

Master s in Business or Healthcare Administration (preferred)

Background as a Medical Technologist (required)

5+ years of recent Director/Manager-level lab leadership experience

Multi-site lab experience at a regional or national level (required)

Strong healthcare financial and operational expertise

Stable employment history (no gaps)
