JOB OVERVIEW Teknova is looking for a talented Product Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team in a full-time capacity. As Product Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our company’s success by developing and executing strategic product development and marketing initiatives to drive the growth of Teknova’s catalog and custom/GMP manufacturing product lines. Your role will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify product growth opportunities, bring new products to life through product development and go-to-market activities, develop and oversee ongoing marketing efforts across the Teknova product portfolio, manage and optimize multi-channel outreach campaigns, and deliver measurable results.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead product roadmap development with key cross-functional partners (Commercial, Operations, Quality) to identify new products and services to bolster the Teknova product portfolio
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify gaps, emerging trends, and new product opportunities within the life sciences and diagnostic sectors
Define target segments and buyer personas across biotech, pharma, diagnostics, and academic markets
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing Teknova products, including positioning, messaging, and launch/campaign plans
Partner with the broader Marketing team on content development, collateral, digital marketing initiatives, lead generation, events to drive product awareness and lead generation
Manage the implementation of various paid, owned, and earned efforts, notably marketing automation workflows and lead scoring models
Analyze customer and campaign data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate product performance, tied to marketing activity
Support internal training of Commercial team as required
Foster and maintain relationships with internal support teams and external partners

Requirements
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, life sciences, or a related field
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
8+ years industry experience in product management, product marketing, or a related role within the life sciences, biotech, or diagnostics industry
Demonstrated experience managing or marketing reagents, assay kits, or similar laboratory products
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts for a range of audiences
Proven ability to work independently in a collaboration yet fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously
