Job Description EPS Corporation is seeking a The Cybersecurity / Computer Engineer supports the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) and Depot projects within the Special Mission Systems Division at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division. This position provides computer network, software, and cybersecurity support across the full lifecycle of manned submersible and unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) programs, from technology development through depot-level operations and sustainment.
Requirements
Active SECRET security clearance; TS/SCI eligibility preferred
DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140.01 baseline certification at the appropriate IAT/IAM level PRIOR to commencement of performance (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent)
U.S. citizenship required; must be able to access Government facilities and SIPRNET
Proficiency in C/C++/C# and Linux (RedHat and Ubuntu) programming
Demonstrated experience with embedded systems programming and UNIX/Linux microprocessor environments
Experience configuring and maintaining network infrastructure (routers, switches) in classified environments
Familiarity with firmware configuration management and version control systems
Experience with CMMI Level 3 processes and IEEE 12207 software life cycle frameworks
Ability to initiate and maintain DoD Authorizations to Operate (ATO)
Must register in U.S. Navy TWMS and complete all mandatory training by required completion dates
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide software development, integration, configuration, testing, documentation, and configuration management support for mission-deployed systems and special programs software
Develop, review, and update software architecture design in accordance with IEEE 12207 and CMMI Level 3 processes and Government-furnished Software Development Plans (SDP)
Maintain proficiency in C/C++/C# programming and Linux RedHat/Ubuntu development environments
Perform embedded systems programming and microprocessor/digital hardware programming using UNIX/Linux
Configure, maintain, and debug UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems
Manage firmware configurations and perform configuration management using Government-approved CM tools
Configure and maintain network routers and switches in support of secure classified environments
Initiate and maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATO) in compliance with DoD and NAVSEA cybersecurity policies
Track and correct software/firmware defects per applicable software management plans; update version control and CM systems
Support implementation of software and engineering change proposals (ECPs)
Ensure software deliverables are free of viruses, malware, Trojan Horses, and other security threats per NIST SP 800-12 Rev 1 prior to Government delivery
Submit monthly Cyberspace Workforce (CWF) Reports to the COR/CWF PM in accordance with contract requirements (CDRL A002)
Ensure all specifications are sufficiently detailed to permit design, development, and evaluation of all software items; maintain specifications for the duration of the task order
