We’re looking for a strategic and creative

Marketing Content Manager

to lead the development of clear, compelling, and on‑brand content for multiple audiences, including employers, brokers, consultants, and business partners. In this role, you’ll shape the narratives that help prospects understand our value, support clients throughout the customer lifecycle, and fuel our product and marketing initiatives. The right candidate will blend strategy development with a focus on hands‑on execution, owning marketing output and driving cross‑functional coordination required to move the business forward.

This role is ideal for a strong communicator who loves simplifying complex topics, collaborating across teams, and ensuring content is high‑quality, accurate, and aligned to business goals.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain a content strategy that supports B2B marketing, broker engagement, and employer communications.

Translate business objectives into content plans that support acquisition, retention, product utilization, and brand awareness.

Identify content gaps and new opportunities across channels and buyer stages.

Maintain and drive an annual marketing content roadmap, aligning initiatives to company growth priorities and execution timelines.

Content Development

Write and edit a wide range of assets including proposals and RFP responses, broker and employer communications, sales enablement content (one‑pagers, pitch decks, comparison sheets), product marketing materials, and blog content.

Ensure all content is accurate, on‑brand, and aligned with regulatory requirements and product positioning.

Standardize and refine all customer‑facing materials, including selling collateral and sales tools.

Partner with Product, Sales, Client Management, and Subject Matter Experts to gather information and create content to understand and communicate company’s value propositions.

Collaborate with design teams on layout, visual storytelling, and digital asset development.

Collaborate with Digital Marketing to identify and secure placements on the right digital platforms and advertising campaign approaches to raise awareness among key decision‑makers.

Support initiatives such as website refresh/redesign, SEO/GEO strategy, and targeted digital advertising to support top‑of‑funnel growth.

Support cross‑functional initiatives, including product launches, campaigns, and client communications.

Content Governance

Maintain brand voice, editorial standards, and messaging consistency across all channels.

Participate in content reviews to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance.

Manage content calendars and project timelines.

Performance & Optimization

Analyze content performance and engagement metrics to refine strategies.

Use insights to improve content relevance, readability, and conversion impact.

Regularly communicate goals, progress, risks, and resource needs to leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Required

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field.

5+ years of experience in content marketing, marketing communications, or a related role with a proven track record in B2B strategy and collateral development.

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills and a data‑driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Strong examples of customer‑facing collateral demonstrating experience and success in a similar role

Ability to simplify technical or complex topics for diverse audiences.

Strong project management skills with experience juggling multiple deadlines.

Comfortable working cross‑functionally and building strong relationships with subject matter experts.

Preferred skills:

Experience working in a regulated industry (insurance, benefits, or healthcare preferred).

Understanding of customer journey and user intent.

Familiarity with broker and employer markets.

The target hiring range for this role is $86,445 - $101,700 (Annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job‑related factors.
