
VP PEO Sales & Account Management

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to create and stand up a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) program, driving growth and revenue expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for informing the design and development of the PEO program, owning sales and account management for PEO groups, and expanding into additional executive-level account management for other group segments. This is a high-growth opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a critical business function and contribute to the company's overall success.
Key Responsibilities PEO Program Development and Launch
Design and develop a comprehensive PEO program, including services, pricing, and operational infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful launch.
Sales and Account Management
Own sales and account management for PEO groups, driving revenue growth and customer acquisition.
Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate existing markets and expand into new ones.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
Growth and Expansion
Identify opportunities for growth and expansion into additional executive-level account management for other group segments.
Develop and execute strategies to drive growth, increase revenue, and enhance customer value.
Leadership and Team Development
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales and account management team.
Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer‑centricity.
Strategic Partnerships and Collaborations
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including brokers, agents, and industry partners.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution.
Key Requirements
10+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field, with a focus on PEO or similar industries (e.g., benefits, HR, or payroll services)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
Proven track record of leadership and success in building and managing high-performing teams
Strong sales and account management skills, with a focus on growing revenue and expanding customer relationships
Excellent strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
Preferred
Direct experience in the PEO industry or a similar field
Experience in an executive-level role, preferably as a VP or SVP
MBA or advanced degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, or marketing)
General Physical Demands Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
