Associate Product Manager, Upstream Marketing Innovation starts from the heart. Patients with tricuspid regurgitation (TR) face complex clinical journeys and limited treatment options. Edwards’ Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business unit is advancing care with the EVOQUE Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve Replacement (TTVR) system—helping redefine what’s possible for patients and physicians.

Position Summary: The Associate Product Manager, Upstream Marketing supports upstream marketing efforts for the EVOQUE Transcatheter Tricuspid Valve Replacement (TTVR) portfolio, with a primary focus on ensuring innovation remains clinically meaningful and market-relevant throughout the Product Development Process (PDP). In this role, you will partner closely with R&D, Clinical, and Marketing leaders to support voice-of-customer activities, translate insights into product requirements, and help advance early-stage concepts into differentiated, patient-centered solutions. This position offers exposure to early-stage innovation while building foundational skills in upstream marketing, cross-functional collaboration, and medical device product development.

This is an on-site position based in Irvine, CA.

How you will make an impact:

Responsible for product line management, design recommendations, and manufacturing coordination for existing and/or new product(s), driving product development in keeping with market dynamics

Draft, review, and develop labeling, directions for use, packaging, sales training materials, translations, forecasts, product structure development inputs

Collaborate with the marketing team to conduct market surveillance/competitor analysis, by developing marketing questionnaires/plans and presentation materials on market dynamics, industry trends and business opportunities

Gain input from healthcare professionals on device prototypes, clinical data, and market dynamics via a variety of customer interactions

What you will need (required):

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field, 3 years experience of previous related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria required

Master's Degree or equivalent in related field, 1 year experience of previous related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria preferred

Experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria preferred

Proven expertise in MS Office Suite

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills

Substantial understanding in tracking and interpreting market share, pricing, ASPs, competitive dynamics

Substantial knowledge of marketing concepts and principles

Expertise and ability to coach others in one or more functional areas

Ability to forecast product lines for short-term and long-term accuracy based on market development, sales trends, competition and changing market dynamics

Possess a fundamental clinical knowledge related to hospital environment, clinical practice and reimbursement policies

Strict attention to detail

Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Must be able to work in a team environment, working closely with global marketing team, key opinion leaders and regional sales managers

Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations

Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $87,000 to $123,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
