Position Summary The

Senior Sales Director – AG & Construction Division

will lead the strategic growth, sales performance, and operational success of HC Forklift America AG’s Agriculture and Construction Division across the US market. This leadership role will focus on expanding market share, strengthening dealer partnerships, and establishing a strong presence in both agricultural and construction equipment sectors.

The Senior Sales Director will oversee division strategy, national sales development, dealer network expansion, and key customer relationships. This role requires a strong combination of agricultural and construction industry expertise, strategic leadership, and hands-on sales development to position HC Forklift America AG as a leading supplier of high-capacity forklifts, telehandlers, and heavy material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute the long-term growth strategy for the AG & Construction Division in the US.

Identify market opportunities in agriculture and construction, positioning the company’s equipment solutions competitively.

Establish annual sales targets, growth plans, and strategic initiatives aligned with both agricultural and construction industry demands.

Provide leadership in expanding the company’s presence in farming operations, agribusiness, civil infrastructure, and heavy industrial sectors.

Lead national sales strategy for the AG & Construction Division and support regional sales teams and dealers.

Drive revenue growth by developing new agricultural and construction markets and strengthening existing dealer relationships.

Establish sales goals, performance metrics, and reporting systems to track progress.

Collaborate with dealers to support sales training, product knowledge, and customer engagement for agriculture and construction applications.

Dealer Development & Territory Expansion

Expand and strengthen the dealer network across the US to increase market coverage in agriculture and construction sectors.

Identify and recruit new dealers in strategic marketsSupport dealers with product training, sales tools, and market development strategies tailored for agricultural and construction applications.

Monitor dealer performance and provide guidance to improve productivity and market penetration.

Key Account & Industry Market Development

Develop relationships with large agricultural operators, agribusinesses, construction companies, and equipment rental fleets.

Focus on markets such as:

Farming and agribusiness operations (grain, livestock, feed, and fertilizer handling)

Construction, civil infrastructure, and heavy project logistics

Building materials handling, ports, and industrial storage

Work closely with major customers to understand operational needs and recommend equipment solutions.

Support large fleet bids, project opportunities, and strategic partnerships across agriculture and construction sectors.

Product & Market Development

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align equipment offerings with US agricultural and construction market requirements.

Provide market feedback on product features, performance, and specifications.

Monitor competitor offerings and industry trends to ensure strong product positioning in both agriculture and construction segments.

Lead the development and implementation of the commission and incentive structure for the AG & Construction Division.

Design a compensation model that aligns sales performance with company revenue, profitability, and strategic growth goals.

Collaborate with executive leadership and finance to create incentive plans that motivate sales teams and support division growth.

Monitor and adjust commission structures as the division expands and evolves.

Operational & Financial Leadership

Manage division-level P&L performance and profitability.

Support demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply coordination for agriculture and construction equipment.

Work cross-functionally with service, parts, logistics, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Establish operational processes that support scalable growth across both markets.

Industry Representation

Agriculture and construction trade shows and expos

Dealer meetings and customer events

Industry associations relevant to farming, agribusiness, and construction equipment

Promote the company’s AG & Construction product line and strengthen brand presence in both heavy equipment markets.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Agriculture, Industrial Management, or related field.

MBA or advanced business education preferred.

Experience

10+ years of experience in agricultural or construction equipment, material handling, or heavy machinery industries.

5+ years in leadership roles managing sales teams, dealer networks, or product divisions.

Strong understanding of high-capacity forklifts, telehandlers, and heavy equipment in agriculture and construction markets.
