ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE: SC Pay Grade GEN06 $37,200 - $48,300 - $59,500
HOURS: 7:30 - 5:30 M-F, varied

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES In this challenging role, you will be supporting the ES - ED AND PROF STUDIES department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
Implement the learning curriculum to include the development of lesson plans, appropriate daily schedules, room arrangement, and enhancement of the learning environment through prop boxes, pictures, documentation, etc.
Supervise the classroom and direct classroom activities.
Facilitate a variety of learning experiences where children can manipulate and explore a variety of materials and experience success.
Gather necessary supplies and materials ahead of time.
Guides children in the proper care of materials.
Act as a positive role model.
Observe and record children’s behavior as needed.
Promotes children’s learning by supporting children’s ideas and progressive skill development.
Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A high school diploma and experience in education, child care or general administration.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education with one year full time experience in a NAEYC accredited child development center. Understanding of developmentally approriate practices.
