Our client, a high-profile creative and brand organization, is seeking a

Director of Digital Marketing

to lead digital strategy, creative storytelling, and multi-platform brand growth across a diverse portfolio of ventures. This includes consumer products, entertainment initiatives, community-impact programs, and premium lifestyle brands.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the digital presence of a widely recognized public figure and their affiliated brands — without being limited to a single vertical. The ideal candidate is a

social-native creative operator

who can move fluidly between culture, sport, entertainment, and purpose-driven storytelling.

About the Role The Director of Digital Marketing will architect and execute a unified digital ecosystem across multiple brand pillars. You will lead content strategy, creative direction, social execution, and digital storytelling for a portfolio that spans:

A public figure’s personal brand

A creative and production company

A youth-focused nonprofit

A premium lifestyle brand

Community-impact initiatives

Entertainment and cultural partnerships

strategic brand management . You will be responsible for elevating the digital voice, visual identity, and cultural relevance of each brand while ensuring cohesion across the entire ecosystem.

What You’ll Do Content Strategy & Creative Direction

Build and own the multi-platform content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms

Lead creative direction for short‑form video, storytelling, and brand campaigns

Oversee shoots, creative production, and real‑time content capture

Develop platform‑specific narratives that reflect each brand’s voice and values

Maintain a high bar for visual and narrative quality across all content

Hands‑On Social Execution

Create, edit, and publish short‑form content when needed

Respond to cultural moments and real‑time events with speed and accuracy

Maintain a high‑velocity content pipeline across multiple brands

Ensure consistent tone, aesthetic, and brand integrity across all channels

Brand Architecture & Multi‑Pillar Storytelling

Build a cohesive digital identity across multiple brand verticals

Translate complex brand narratives into accessible, engaging content

Balance entertainment, lifestyle, community impact, and product storytelling

Ensure each brand’s digital presence feels distinct yet connected

Team Leadership & Collaboration

Lead and develop a small team, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability to ensure high‑quality execution

Demonstrate a collaborative leadership style, partnering effectively across brand, comms, production, and external creative teams

Manage and mentor creatives, editors, and freelancers

Collaborate with external agencies and creative partners

Foster a collaborative, high‑trust creative environment

Digital Insights & Growth

Track engagement, sentiment, and growth across platforms

Identify cultural trends early and translate them into brand‑aligned content

Use data to refine creative direction and content strategy

Maintain a pulse on sports culture, entertainment, youth culture, and digital storytelling trends

Experience We’re Looking For

5–10+ years in digital content, social media, creative direction, or brand storytelling

Experience working with public figures, creators, athletes, or entertainers

Strong portfolio of short‑form video and social‑first creative work

Experience directing shoots and managing creative teams

Ability to thrive in fast‑moving, high‑visibility environments

Willingness to work evenings/weekends during key events or activations

Important Details This is a

hybrid role

requiring

three days per week on‑site

in the San Francisco office.

Compensation:

$180,000–$220,000 annually

Includes comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, retirement benefits, and generous paid time off.

Occasional travel may be required for events, shoots, and real‑time content capture.

Portfolio Request Priority will be given to applicants who include a portfolio demonstrating

hands‑on creative work , including:

Real‑time or event‑driven content

Multi‑platform social content

Creative direction samples (moodboards, briefs, storyboards)
