Job Type:

Employment type: Full-time

Classification: W-2 employee

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with some evening or weekend appointments based on client availability

Compensation:

Commission: Earn commission on closed projects

Estimated total compensation range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year.

Pay frequency: Bi-weekly

About the Role: The Lead Designer / Sales Consultant partners with homeowners to design custom outdoor living solutions that fit their lifestyle and budget. This role guides clients through the full sales and design process--from initial consultation through signed agreement--while ensuring a smooth handoff to project management and construction teams.

Responsibilities:

Meet with homeowners to understand goals, preferences, and outdoor living needs

Develop and present design concepts and tailored project solutions

Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and scopes of work

Manage the sales process from consultation through contract executionBuild strong client relationships through clear communication and follow-up

Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure project alignment

Qualifications: Required

Experience in consultative sales, design sales, or home improvement sales

Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Ability to manage multiple clients and move projects forward confidently

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

Experience with outdoor living, construction, or remodeling projects

Familiarity with design tools, CRM systems, or proposal software

Work Authorization:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
