Senior Strategic Account Executive - ISV
Remote - US Overview Twilio is shaping the future of communications. This role supports the management and growth of our messaging business with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) in North America. You will be responsible for the success of Twilio’s messaging business in the ISV segment in North America, supporting existing customers and driving new business processes for prospective customers. Twilio works with some of the largest ISVs in the US and Canada across marketing, business automation, and customer care. You will be a cross-functional member of our go-to-market teams, engaging with product management, carrier relations, finance, and services teams. Responsibilities Cultivate the continued growth of key messaging, voice, and email use cases with strategic ISV customers on the Twilio platform. Own analytical and consultative sales cycles to retain business, expand into new use cases, and win new ISV messaging customers. Partner cross-functionally with services, product, and finance to develop long-range account plans. Act as the voice of the customer to Twilio’s products and carrier relations teams. Stay as an expert in the communications space, keeping abreast of industry initiatives and new capabilities for customers and the go-to-market organization. Required: 7-10+ years of combined experience in major or strategic sales, managing or leading analytical products or solutions. Comfortable working with business and technical leaders, influencing understanding and partnerships. Analytical account development strategy based on data to identify opportunities and prove value. Demonstrated track record of managing forecasts and financial models. Entrepreneurial mindset with appetite to define processes and build programs. History of delivering market-driven results, especially with scale and enterprise customers. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English). Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Ability to operate as part of a team in an overlay sales capacity. Deep experience with telecom companies, including SMS aggregators, carriers, or global platforms. Domain expertise from quantitative industries (e.g., advertising optimization, investment banking, security, or trading) in non-standard segments. Software, SaaS, CPaaS or PaaS experience. Location Remote role; not eligible to be hired in CT, NJ, NY, WA, PA or the surrounding areas of San Francisco Bay Area, Oakland, or San Jose, CA. The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota or Vermont: $158,632 - $198,290. Based in Washington D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts or California (outside the SF Bay Area): $167,440 - $209,300. Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or SF Bay Area, California: $176,256 - $220,320. This role may participate in Twilio’s equity plan. Benefits include healthcare, 401(k), paid sick time, paid personal time off, and paid parental leave. Role may be eligible for commissions.
