SCANNING SPECIALIST

## DescriptionCoulee Medical Center is seeking a **Scanning Specialist** to join our **Health Information Management (HIM) department**, this position plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of patient health records within our electronic health record system.**Responsibilities:*** Review documents for completeness and regulatory compliance* Prepare and scan documents into the electronic health record system* Accurately index and label documents within patient charts* Monitor for duplicate or incomplete records* Process record requests for patients and external entities* Assist staff with medical record questions* Support HIM analysts as needed* Maintain confidentiality of all protected health information**Qualifications:*** Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality* Proficient in computer systems, scanning, equipment, and office technology* Excellent communication and team work skills**Benefits/Salary:*****Benefits Include:*** *Medical, Dental, and Vision, 403(b) with a maximum match of 5% (match depends on years of service), Employer paid life insurance, Employer paid Long-Term Disability, Health Flex Spending Account (HFSA), Day Care Flex Spending Account (DFSA), EAP, Earned Leave accrual (.071153846/hr) & Paid Sick Leave accrual (.025/hr).****Pay/Grade Range:*** *The pay grade range for this position has been finalized for the facility according to an evaluation of the roles’ duties and requirements.
