This role supports a team known for accurate layout, reliable data collection, and strong field execution. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day survey operations while mentoring crew members and ensuring work is completed safely and correctly. Key Responsibilities

Lead field crews performing boundary, topographic, and construction stakeout surveys Coordinate daily survey activities and ensure accurate data collection and layout execution Train and mentor field personnel on surveying techniques, equipment use, and safety practices Verify field data and maintain clear documentation for project teams Communicate with project managers and construction teams to support site progress Qualifications

Experience in land surveying with a focus on construction projects Strong background in boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction layout Proven leadership experience managing and training field crews Ability to operate survey equipment and interpret field data Understanding of construction site coordination and scheduling Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Good communication skills and ability to work with project teams Ability to work outdoors and travel to job sites as needed Design Hire is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
