Territory Sales Manager

based in

Michigan

to support and grow business across a defined territory. This role is responsible for managing existing accounts, developing new business, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers within the assigned territory. This is a field-based position focused on building long‑term relationships with aggregate producers, mining operations, and related customers while driving equipment sales, service solutions, and overall market growth. Responsibilities

Manage and grow sales within the assigned territory by developing strong relationships with new and existing customers Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer needs, including equipment, parts, and service support Develop in‑depth knowledge of product lines and effectively position solutions within aggregate and mining applications Conduct regular customer visits, site evaluations, and sales calls to maintain strong engagement and identify opportunities Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and bids aligned with customer needs and market conditions Provide market intelligence, pricing feedback, and competitive insights to leadership Utilize CRM systems to track activity, manage pipeline, and forecast sales performance Coordinate with internal teams to ensure strong product support and customer satisfaction Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer demonstrations Manage territory profitability and ensure consistent communication internally and externally For more information on this position, please contact Kingston Wynn at Herk & Associates: Qualifications

3+ years of outside sales experience in aggregate, mining, heavy equipment, or related industries Strong understanding of equipment applications and customer operations within aggregate or mining environments Proven ability to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships Experience preparing proposals, managing bids, and negotiating commercial terms Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant industry experience considered in lieu of degree Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Willingness to travel approximately 60% with frequent overnight travel
