Director of Field Operations
to join our team supporting the customer in
the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area.
As Director of Field Operations, you will oversee, manage and provide vital management and technical support for government end user resources and applications. In this role you perform as the crucial link between technical engineering teams and customers, specializing in designing, customizing, and supporting software or hardware solutions to meet specific client needs.
Responsibilities
Oversees and reports on site IT technician's activities, reporting, and on-site project management/administrative support and coordination to a complex contract, project, task(s) or business unit
Coordinates various service activities e.g. new installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance; manages work schedules to ensure appropriate support is maintained as required
Duties may include project accounting and reporting, project schedule focus to management, tracking annual fiscal plans and monthly updates, maintenance, service administration, and reporting
Maintains financial data and reports, prepares estimates and track costs and schedules.
Identifies, assesses, and evaluates moderately complex product/service solutions requiring a blend of project management, finance, and technical skills
Coordinates resolution of product/service issues, upgrades, and problems for IT end user resources
Interacts with management and stakeholders to assess major business processes and address product/service needs aligning resources to projects and activities
Participates in discussions and working groups to identify applications with features, functionality, and ability to operate securely within the customer environment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or other related technical area or equivalent 6+ years
Preferred Qualifications
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications
PMP
Experience within a government or corporate environment
Clearance Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be able to obtain DHS EOD suitability
An active EOD suitability is highly desired.
Physical Requirements The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
Compensation and Benefits The projected compensation range for this position is $142,200.00-$254,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
