About the Job As an

AI Transformation Managing Principal , you will guide financial services clients through their AI transformation journeys—defining strategy, shaping opportunities, and leading delivery in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is a senior consulting role that blends

AI strategy, business transformation, and client engagement . You’ll work closely with executives to envision how AI and GenAI can redefine their businesses, and with technology and architecture teams to bring those visions to life.

AI & GenAI Strategy and Transformation

Lead the design and execution of

enterprise-wide AI transformation programs , ensuring alignment with business strategy and measurable impact.

Define

roadmaps and operating models

for adopting foundation models, agentic AI, and automation capabilities.

Advise senior stakeholders on how to embed AI across core business areas such as risk, compliance, trading, and customer experience.

Generative AI Enablement & Solution Delivery

Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to

design and deliver scalable GenAI and agentic solutions

that meet enterprise needs.

Help define

solution patterns and standards

that balance innovation with operational integrity, security, and compliance.

Lead

Proofs of Concept (PoCs)

and pilots to demonstrate AI value in real-world scenarios and accelerate adoption.

Stay fluent in the capabilities of

foundation models

(LLMs, vision, multimodal) to guide appropriate selection and use for financial services contexts.

Work with data science and platform teams to

tailor and deploy models

that drive automation, decision support, and insight generation.

Promote

responsible AI practices

around fairness, transparency, and auditability.

Consulting & Business Development

Shape and sell AI-led transformation programs, partnering with senior leaders to identify opportunities and craft compelling proposals.

Build and maintain

executive client relationships , acting as a trusted advisor who bridges business goals with technical possibilities.

Contribute to Capco’s growth through

thought leadership, go-to-market initiatives, and client workshops

that position us as a GenAI transformation leader.

Leadership & Change Enablement

Partner with delivery, data, and technology teams to

turn strategy into scalable solutions , ensuring clarity, accountability, and success metrics.

Mentor consultants and emerging AI specialists, building capability across teams and clients.

Represent Capco at industry events, panels, and forums as an advocate for practical, value-driven AI transformation.

What You’ll Bring with You

10+ years of experience in consulting and technology-led transformation, including at least 3 years in AI/ML or Generative AI strategy.

Proven track record leading Data initiatives for financial services organizations, from ideation through execution.

Background in Enterprise PMO environment, and delivery management across complex initiatives.

Demonstrated success in business development, including shaping proposals and selling transformation programs to executive stakeholders.

Strong understanding of how foundation models and GenAI can be applied to banking, capital markets, insurance, and fintech operations.

Experience collaborating with architecture, engineering, and data teams to deliver complex technology programs.

Excellent client engagement, communication, and storytelling skills—able to bridge business vision with AI potential.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or similar).

Willingness to work in the Northern VA office 5 days/week.

US Pay Range $191,000 - $225,000 USD
