My client, a leading consumer packaged goods company in the western suburbs is currently seeking a Sr. Planner to work with their contract manufacturer partners.
Senior Planner/Buyer – Contract Manufacturing
Lead end-to-end supply chain planning and procurement for outsourced manufacturing operations Manage inventory levels, production schedules, and purchase orders to ensure product availability and minimize excess/obsolescence Develop and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturers, driving performance in cost, quality, and service Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and risks; proactively resolve supply disruptions Support demand planning, forecasting, and monthly supply updates for stakeholders Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Sales, R&D, Quality, Regulatory) on new product launches and ongoing operations Oversee BOMs, pricing, contracts, and ERP system data accuracy Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and company standards #LI-JM1
