Leads the product team(s) developing the product(s). This position may be involved in the funding management and budgeting processes for the products and / or portfolio.## **Responsibilities**:* Defines and manages product roadmap* Build, groom and prioritize the product backlog, continuously managing expectations with relevant stakeholders – including the senior leadership team* Manage the sprint planning process and participate in all relevant ceremonies (reviews of prior sprints, grooming, retrospectives, etc.)* Develop a deep contextual understanding of our customer, worker and user needs* Gather market feedback through user interactions, focus groups, and by performing industry research to support future development* Write detailed functional specifications, user stories and product documentation* Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, designers and analysts to implement and deliver new products and features* Collaborate with the organization on vision, strategy, decisioning, tactical execution, and measurement systems* Communicate roadmap stages and timelines internally with key stakeholders## **Required/Basic Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree* In addition to required degree, four (4) or more years related work experience* In lieu of Bachelor’s degree(s) AND four (4) or more years related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND eight (8) or more years related work experience## **Desired** **Qualifications*** Certified SCRUM Product Owner* Working knowledge of econometrics/marketing mix models/propensity* AWS Cloud Practitioner## **Additional Preferred Qualifications*** 7 or more years working in the utility industry* Experience as a Senior Product Analyst* Agile Product Owner certification* "Black Belt" Six Sigma certification* Experience with Jira## **Working Conditions*** Hybrid – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to the designated Duke Energy facility.* Office environment mostly, often with research, analysis or engagement conducted in plants or field## **Specific Requirements*** Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action, preferably with experience shipping software* Ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts to a new product development team* Clear passion for topics of technology products and an ability to identify possibilities to innovate* Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities* Excellent communication skills including the ability to build relationships and effectively influence across all management and organizational levels* Strong understanding of the SDLC process and the ability to work in an agile environment with bi-weekly releases* Experience with relevant new product or technology development experience working in a fast-paced environment* Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you have the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your goals****Travel Requirements****### Relocation Assistance Provided (as applicable)No### Represented/Union PositionNo### Visa Sponsored PositionNo### Please note that in order to be considered for this position, you must possess all of the basic/required qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
