Activity Director to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.
The Activities Director will oversee the planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Activity Department so that it is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
Activity Director Certification This position requires creativity, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in an optimistic and engaging manner. Some responsibilities of the Activity Director may include:
Plan, organize, and develop an engaging monthly activity calendar to meet the needs and interest of each resident
Provide a positive and creative environment for residents to enjoy a multitude of activity options
Perform necessary assessments as it pertains to each individual resident.
Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing activities in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident
Serve as the direct supervisor of the Activity Assistant(s)
Work closely with the Marketing Director in planning, organizing, and preparing special events/holiday celebrations
