Description The Digital Experience Designer supports the design and optimization of Dupaco's digital presence by creating user‑centric experiences across our website, applications, and digital touchpoints that engage members and reflect our brand excellence. This role reports to the Digital Experience Manager and collaborates closely with the Senior Digital Experience Designer.

What you’ll be doing:
Create user‑centered designs for web, mobile, and app interfaces—including journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, graphics, and icons that exemplify Dupaco's brand, optimize page performance, and align with established brand guidelines
Stay informed of emerging trends and competitive analysis in UX/UI design, accessibility standards, and digital best practices
Participate in usability testing and incorporate feedback to deliver highly functional, accessible user experiences, informing design strategies and initiatives
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance user experience across all digital platforms
Vet and test UX designs and interactions in development and staging environments to ensure they display and function as intended
Develop journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups for web, mobile, and app interfaces that exemplify Dupaco's brand
Write clear, concise UX copy for digital interfaces, including website navigation, button labels, form instructions, error messages, in‑app messaging, and email/text alerts that guide users and reduce friction
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure consistent, on‑brand, and user‑friendly design and language across all digital touchpoints
Leverage Google Analytics and other digital analytics tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and make data‑driven recommendations
Gather and document project requirements, user stories, and technical specifications
Develop and maintain knowledge of Dupaco products, services, and member benefits
Perform other duties as assigned
You’ll need:
Education (one of the following):
Bachelor's or associate degree in UX/UI design, web design, graphic design, digital media, human‑computer interaction (HCI), interaction design, or related field.
Professional certificate or bootcamp completion in UX design, web design, front‑end development, or digital product design
Equivalent combination of education and professional experience in digital design
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in user experience design, digital design, web content management, or related field
Candidates early in their career with strong portfolios and relevant internship or freelance experience are also encouraged to apply
Excellent written communication skills, UX writing experience preferred; willingness to learn microcopy best practices, plain language principles, and content design for digital products
Experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe, Sketch) and content management systems (e.g., Hubspot, WordPress)
Proven problem‑solving abilities and track record of process improvement
Proficient with web technologies and ability to quickly learn new platforms and tools
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
Self‑motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative
