Primary Responsibilities The Senior Graphic Designer develops and executes high-impact creative across packaging, marketing materials, and trade show environments for KeHE’s Exclusive Brands. This role brings brand strategies to life through thoughtful, consumer-driven design while ensuring excellence from concept through production. Reporting to the Creative Lead, this individual partners closely with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to translate business objectives into compelling visual solutions that drive growth and maintain consistency across multiple brands. Strong organizational skills, agile problem-solving, production expertise, and a passion for food are essential. Essential Functions DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design packaging, sales collateral, trade show booths, point-of-sale materials, PowerPoint templates, and other marketing assets across print and digital channels.
Update existing packaging and roll out current brand standards across new products to ensure consistency across categories and SKUs.
Collaborate closely with and execute against direction from the Creative Lead on all projects.
Partner with Creative Lead, Project Manager, Marketing, Operations, and contract designer(s) to align on timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
Ensure accuracy, quality, and exceptional attention to detail from concept through final production.
Revise packaging creative based on internal feedback, performance insights, and soft/hard proof reviews in a timely manner.
Coordinate with suppliers and print vendors to communicate creative intent, manage production files, and ensure print accuracy and brand integrity.
Adhere to brand guidelines, legal packaging requirements, and company policies.
Support broader brand initiatives, including biannual trade show planning and cross-functional projects as needed.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Strong initiative with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams while also working independently and remaining accountable for results.
Ability to take a strong creative concept from idea through final production, maintaining high aesthetic standards and brand integrity throughout.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro). Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with Monday.com and Box is a plus.
Strong photo editing and retouching skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional certification/experience).
Minimum of 3+ years of professional graphic design experience.
Experience working within a CPG brand’s in-house creative/marketing team or at an agency supporting CPG brands preferred.
Proven experience developing consumer product packaging, including technical design and production execution.
Experience in the CPG industry, preferably within natural and organic food and beverage, strongly preferred.
Online portfolio or PDF portfolio showcasing relevant packaging and brand work required.
Working knowledge of CPG packaging regulations, labeling requirements, and certification standards preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods.
Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment.
Ability to view a computer screen for long periods.
Ability to move about the office occasionally to access files, equipment, or attend meetings.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally (e.g., office files, laptop, small office equipment).
