We are looking for an Account Associate - Commercial Lines to join our team at Insurance Office of America .
Location: Hybrid 1‑2 days in office at Aliso Viejo, Ontario, Pasadena, San Diego, or Santa Barbara. Fully remote for Los Angeles County candidates.
Job Description
Assist the account team with day‑to‑day administrative tasks, customer service, and meet production and quality performance requirements. Ensure accuracy to avoid liability from errors or omissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Support – Assist the Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant.
- Office Support – Handle general office tasks and administration.
- Policy Processing – Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, policy releases, check requests, invoices, finance agreements, summaries, loss runs, MVRs, ID cards, certificates, and binders.
- Task Management – Identify billing inaccuracies, review policy forms, and prepare submissions, online rating, proposals, AOR letters, and support new/renewal workflows.
- Data Management – Maintain accurate agency system data.
- Activity Monitoring – Ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Communication – Keep the account team informed of workload status and issues.
- Service Excellence – Provide proactive and responsive service.
- Performance Monitoring – Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Promote Culture – Participate in team building and positive work environment.
- Continuous Improvement – Adopt best practices.
- Compliance – Stay updated on company policies.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial lines experience or 5+ years in customer service.
- Knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
- Active P&C license.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making skills.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Salary Range
$52,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year, depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
