The Role

Senior Product Manager, Cart & Checkout

Quince is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager for Cart & Checkout to drive the next generation of our core shopping and transaction experiences. As part of the Conversion & Checkout product group, this role owns the UX, performance, and integrity of the Cart and Checkout flows across platforms (web and app), ensuring every customer’s path to purchase is seamless, secure, and rewarding.

You’ll lead the roadmap that optimizes how customers complete their purchase — improving checkout conversion, average order value (AOV), and trust. This includes managing payment experiences, fraud prevention, fulfillment clarity, and the seamless integration of promotions, discounts, and cross-sell opportunities.

This is a hands-on role with high impact: you’ll collaborate closely with teams across Engineering, Design, Merchandising, Marketing, International, Platform, and Logistics to deliver experiences that delight customers and drive measurable business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Cart and Checkout experience across all platforms, ensuring fast, intuitive, and reliable transactions.
  • Optimize UX and performance to improve conversion rates and grow AOV, balancing simplicity and flexibility for customers globally.
  • Partner with Merchandising to enable new product types, pre-orders, and subscription or discount-based purchase models.
  • Collaborate with the International team to support new payment methods, currencies, and compliance needs across markets.
  • Work with Platform Engineering to ensure all payment and customer data flows meet PCI and global privacy standards (PII, GDPR).
  • Partner with Logistics and Platform to integrate real-time estimated delivery dates (EDD) and order transparency into the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with Discovery teams to build and optimize cross-sell and upsell recommendations within the cart and checkout flows.
  • Reduce fraud and chargeback risk by improving risk modeling, checkout validation, and payment handling systems.
  • Lead continuousexperimentation and A/B testing to measure and improve funnel performance.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2–3 years focused on checkout, payments, or transaction flows in ecommerce or marketplace settings.
  • Proven track record improving conversion rate and AOV through UX optimization and experimentation.
  • Deep understanding of payment systems, fraud prevention, and PCI/PII compliance.
  • Experience integrating discounts, subscriptions, and promotional systems into transactional flows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with funnel analytics and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communicator who can partner effectively with engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with international payments, fraud platforms, and order fulfillment systems preferred.
  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in our Palo Alto office (Mon, Thurs, Fri)

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
