Overview
As our Executive Director, you will provide strategic leadership, driving financial performance, enhancing patient outcomes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and securing a competitive advantage.
Every day you will oversee operations/capital budgets and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. You'll engage in fundraising and directly supervise management and team members. This includes planning, directing, and evaluating programs, systems, and resources for safe patient care. You'll develop and implement strategic plans, secure funding, and direct project management. You will ensure consistent practices in operations, customer service, and quality.
To be successful in this role, you need exceptional leadership in financial management, operational accountability, and strategic planning. You'll possess a proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with community groups, payors, medical providers, and officials, effectively marketing our facility to enhance awareness, market share, and revenue. Your commitment to staff development and HR standards will be crucial for a high-performing team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor\'s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a home health agency, hospice or related healthcare program
- Five (5) years of experience in a management/leadership capacity
- Active Washington State Nursing Home Administrator licensure in good standing with the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB), or the ability to transfer an out-of-state license to Washington State prior to hire date

Opened in 1992, Bailey-Boushay House (BBH) was the first facility in the nation to be built expressly to meet the complex needs of people with HIV/AIDS at end of life. Built by members of the community, the facility was entrusted to Virginia Mason Medical Center to open and operate. As the population of people living with AIDS has changed, so have the services and individuals targeted by Bailey-Boushay House.
Our Inpatient services, licensed as a skilled nursing home, is comprised of 35 single rooms and serves patients with complicated end of life issues including ALS, Huntington's disease, MS, cancer in addition to HIV. BBH also opened an outpatient program in 1992. The program targets clients who are the most medically and socially frail of those with HIV/AIDS.
The organization expanded in 2018 and opened an Emergency Homeless Shelter specifically for individuals with HIV.
Today, over 400 individuals receive support from BBH's inpatient and outpatient programs annually. Almost all these individuals have multiple issues consisting of mental illness, homelessness, substance use, history of incarceration and lack of community support.
Pay Range
$72.57 - $107.95 /hour
