Role Overview: A rapidly growing AI-driven software company focused on modernizing operational workflows for healthcare providers is seeking a Head of Marketing / Demand Generation to build and lead its marketing engine during a pivotal stage of growth. The platform leverages artificial intelligence and workflow automation to streamline administrative operations, improve revenue capture, and free teams to focus on delivering better patient experiences. This is a highly hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments. Rather than inheriting a fully built marketing organization, this individual will design the marketing playbook from the ground up. The role combines strategic thinking with tactical execution, focusing on building pipeline, shaping positioning, and identifying the most effective growth channels for a modern AI-powered platform. The Head of Marketing will partner closely with founders and sales leadership to drive measurable business outcomes and establish a strong market presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the overall demand generation strategy across paid media, outbound programs, partnerships, content, and organic growth channels
- Drive qualified pipeline generation in close collaboration with sales leadership and go-to-market stakeholders
- Design, launch, and optimize marketing campaigns that directly influence lead generation, pipeline creation, and revenue growth
- Shape the company’s positioning and messaging for an emerging AI-powered platform serving a specialized healthcare market
- Partner with executive leadership to prioritize marketing initiatives based on business impact and growth opportunities
- Lead performance marketing initiatives across channels such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, email campaigns, and content distribution
- Explore and implement account-based marketing initiatives targeting high-value prospects and segments
- Support sales development efforts through lifecycle marketing programs and outbound enablement initiatives
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that increase brand awareness and accelerate market expansion
- Strengthen organic social media presence while helping develop a distinctive and credible voice within the market
- Build marketing analytics and reporting frameworks that connect marketing investment to pipeline, CAC, CPL, conversion metrics, and revenue performance
- Evaluate and optimize the marketing technology stack, identifying opportunities for automation, tooling improvements, and scalable workflows
- Oversee and elevate external or offshore marketing resources supporting performance marketing and campaign execution
- Operate with strong judgment, clear priorities, and a continuous test-and-learn approach to growth
Education & Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of experience in B2B marketing with a strong emphasis on demand generation, growth marketing, or pipeline-focused programs
- Demonstrated experience building marketing programs from the ground up within startup or high-growth environments
- Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute directly as an individual contributor
- Proven ability to drive measurable pipeline growth and align marketing performance with revenue outcomes
- Experience managing or influencing paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, outbound support, partnerships, and marketing analytics
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively with founders, executives, and sales leadership
- Excellent messaging, positioning, and copywriting instincts with strong attention to quality and detail
- Comfort operating in fast-moving environments with high levels of ownership and accountability
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or similar systems
- Familiarity with outbound sequencing tools and modern digital marketing channels
Preferred Experience
- Experience in healthcare, healthcare services, dental technology, or vertical SaaS markets
- Experience marketing AI-driven platforms, automation software, or workflow technology
- Exposure to account-based marketing strategies and growth experimentation frameworks
- Experience working with lean teams where marketing leaders operate as both strategists and operators
- Strong familiarity with modern AI tools used to increase marketing efficiency and leverage
