Overview

  • have a demonstrated track record of closing initial semiconductor sales opportunities
  • have a demonstrated ability to sell the value and cost benefit of innovative semiconductors
  • bring an understanding of technology (MCUs, Memory and Sensor technologies) pain points and competitive solutions
  • bring an understanding of typical purchasing cycles and timetables in target customers
  • be disciplined in use of CRM for semiconductor applications and be forthright and timely in reporting details of customer sales opportunities, challenges, etc.
  • build a strong and deep partnership relationship with the senior management in order to rapidly develop sales of existing / future products
  • be a resource efficient, collaborative, team savvy “doer” in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with an appreciation that sales team resources will evolve proportional to sales success
  • have demonstrated success in managing team resources over distance (without collocated resources and / or remote from headquarters)
  • have worked and or managed independent Sales representatives and have developed programs to train and entice sales representatives

Responsibilities

  • Develop the go to market strategy
  • Be the market segment strategist
  • Drive customer sample evaluations with target customers to definitive design wins and close purchase orders
  • Identify an aggressive and realistic sales funnel
  • Establish and maintain the sales plan in CRM system
  • Develop and deliver against sales forecast
  • Understand design cycle details of each account
  • Expand existing customer relationships
  • Prepare sales plan presentations for incorporation into the C-level meetings
  • Requirement for frequent travel to support customer relationships

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Deep and extensive relationships have been established with local accounts, coupled with familiarity with high-tech companies in Silicon Valley
  • Possesses the ability to develop and maintain key accounts, ensuring stable and sustained growth in the company\'s major client business.
  • Strong track record in IoT, PC, Consumer, and Industrial market segments with revenue growth numbers, established relationships, and respect within customers
  • Experience being early in the sales development cycle and driving it to revenue success
  • Proven track record in driving a company from technology adoption through to qualification as an approved vendor with tier one and two customers
  • Demonstrated strategic value selling and knowledge of who to target within customers
  • Knows how to develop deep relationships with customers
  • Proven ability to identify real sales opportunities (strategic) and manage the revenue forecast
  • Experience in building systems, controls, and reporting for managing the opportunity funnel and the sales pipeline (CRM System)
  • Proven track record in building, supporting, controlling, and managing broader distribution
  • Confident, self-starter, high energy, high integrity leader, effective at multi-tasking and time management
  • Account management experience with focus customer preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Detailed planner, strong execution skills, results-oriented, drives customers and the company to revenue generations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Bachelor’s or Masters in other related field considered if work experience and track record, and existing relationships meet expectations
