Overview

Summary: The Head of Global Field Sales & Training for Reality Labs leads the team responsible for delivering global staffing and training plans for retailers that sell Meta VR and Wearables products. This role is accountable for creating and executing the overarching global training strategy for Reality Labs’ product portfolio, with a focus on developing, delivering, and continuously improving training content tailored for retail channel partners. Additionally, this role is responsible for the design and implementation of global staffing strategies and tools that empower regional teams and retail partners to scale effectively. They will manage a team of professionals, ensuring alignment with business and operational goals across all global retail channels.

Required Skills:

  1. Design and implement global staffing strategies to support field sales and training operations

  2. Develop and deploy tools and processes that enable regional teams and partners to scale efficiently

  3. Collaborate with regional leads to ensure staffing models meet local market needs and business objectives

  4. Create and drive the overarching global retail training strategy for Reality Labs’ products, including the end-to-end development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training content. Lead and manage the team to ensure consistent, scalable, and impactful training solutions for internal teams, retail partners, and external stakeholders

  5. Manage, mentor, and grow a team of training and staffing professionals

  6. Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

  7. Set clear goals, track progress, and ensure accountability across the team

  8. Manage the end-to-end content development process, applying best practices in instructional design and managing capacity/output (similar to agile sprint planning) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of training materials

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years experience working in retail

  2. 5+ years background in learning and development, including designing and delivering training programs

  3. 5+ years experience creating comprehensive training content and instructional materials, applying advanced skills to address complex and different learning needs

  4. Experience in project management and strategic planning, with a track record of successfully leading multiple complex training initiatives to impactful completion

  5. 3+ years experience leading and developing teams

  6. Experience working with cross-functional partners and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with global training rollouts and localization

  2. Familiarity with retail technology, demo environments, or in-store enablement tools

  3. Advanced degree or certifications in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or Retail Management

Public Compensation:

$158,000/year to $224,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
