Automotive Service Writer
We are a fast-growing and dynamic automotive repair facility looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Automotive Service Writer to join our team. As an Automotive Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience, from the initial contact to the final bill. Responsibilities: Greet customers and listen to their concerns and needs regarding their vehicles Communicate with technicians to diagnose problems and provide detailed and accurate service information Prepare and present accurate repair cost estimates to customers Explain the repair process and answer any questions customers may have Schedule appointments and coordinate repairs with the service department Follow up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with their service experience Continuously update customer information and vehicle history records in our computer system Handle customer complaints in a professional and empathetic manner Continuously monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience as an Automotive Service Writer or similar customer service role Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance services Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment Strong computer skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work in a team environment and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
