Hundreds of thousands of customers rely on AWS databases, designed from the ground up to support the scale, performance, and availability needs of modern applications. As a Senior Database Sales Specialist, you will help shape the future of the database platform industry and further establish AWS as the clear leader in cloud computing. We are seeking experienced enterprise IT sales specialists who can help deliver AWS database value to Korea’s most forward‑thinking customers.
Role & Responsibilities
Manage database services including relational, non‑relational, database migration services and AI enabled Database services.
Educate account teams on database messaging, programs, and services.
Partner with business development/Go-To-Market specialist and solutions architecture teams to accelerate database opportunities within strategic customer segments and key accounts.
Meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
Manage a robust sales pipeline and maintain an accurate revenue forecast.
Develop long‑term and strategic relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of account management experience with quota ownership, working with commercial or enterprise customers in software technology solutions sales.
3+ years of direct field sales experience in database products or services.
Demonstrated experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large‑scale technology deals.
Experience positioning and selling technology solutions to new customers and new market segments.
Ability to translate customer business and technology priorities into effective technology solutions.
Good verbal and written communications skills in English and Korean.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience driving adoption of new and disruptive technologies.
Experience working within a global company, with multi‑country responsibilities.
Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C‑level executives.
Technical background in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
