About this Role
As a Customer Experience Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional and memorable experience for our customers throughout their CarMax journey. By guiding them and providing support at every step, you will help uphold our reputation for honesty and transparency, enabling you to effectively assist customers in buying and selling cars.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver outstanding customer service by guiding clients throughout their journey, from sales to appraisals, test drives, and financing applications.
Conduct vehicle assessments, gathering and communicating details necessary for customer appraisals.
Receive and check in vehicles shipped to CarMax while managing daily inventory scanning and reconciliation.
Perform cosmetic inspections to ensure all vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards.
Handle various administrative tasks such as printing reports, maintaining transaction records, contacting finance companies, and managing cash and payment processes.
Schedule service appointments and verify the accuracy of repair order invoices for retail service work.
Role Purpose
This role operates in a high-energy retail sales environment. You will collaborate with your team to achieve goals while managing various customer interactions. Quick rapport building and understanding customer needs will be crucial. Your responsibilities will include vehicle sales, paperwork processing, condition assessments for appraisals, and managing repair orders. There are ample opportunities for growth into mentorship or managerial positions.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Sales and customer service experience, particularly in retail, is preferred.
A valid Driver's License.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.
