Essential Functions
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal sales teams.
Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and customer portals promptly and professionally.
Enter customer orders into the ERP system with a goal of 100% accuracy.
Prepare and enter quotes into the ERP system or shared directories.
Assist customers in finding the right components using product catalogs, web-based resources, and internal tools.
Expedite orders as needed to meet delivery commitments.
Provide solutions in a team-oriented environment and support outside sales as required (quoting, expediting, customer visits).
Follow up on quotes and actively support sales development, including up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
Experience, Education and Skills
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred (especially in Fluid Power or Technical programs).
2+ years of customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or related industries.
Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, fluid power, electrical, power transmission, motors, or motion control is highly desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and able to quickly learn CRM systems (experience with Trend is a plus).
Strong analytical, mathematical, and mechanical aptitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Calm under pressure, with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
