Position Summary
Go Maverick Group has a client who is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Inside Sales Representative
to support their sales team and customers. This role is responsible for managing inbound sales inquiries, supporting outside sales representatives, preparing quotes, processing orders, and building strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and internal systems
Prepare and follow up on quotes, pricing requests, and product availability
Enter and manage sales orders accurately and efficiently
Support outside sales representatives with account management, customer communication, and sales data
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and solutions
Coordinate with production, engineering, and shipping teams to meet customer requirements and delivery timelines
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in the CRM/ERP system
Assist with resolving customer issues related to orders, pricing, or delivery
Stay current on products, applications, and industry trends
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or account support experience (manufacturing or industrial products preferred)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Team-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach
Familiarity with quoting, pricing structures, and order processing
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with electrical, mechanical, or industrial components
Ability to read technical specifications or product documentation
