Job Description
Join our innovative team as a Senior Business Analyst, where you will be essential in shaping Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and managing product lifecycles within Oracle's Fusion environment. This crucial role empowers Oracle to deliver cloud infrastructure systems around the world, achieving ambitious timelines for our Networking and Standalone Hardware products.
As the go-to expert for product data integrity, you will oversee complex BOM structures throughout engineering development, manufacturing, and End of Life stages. Your impactful decisions will ensure Oracle's infrastructure products are accurately defined, compliant, and primed for global deployment. This role requires both strategic vision and exceptional cross-functional leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Strategic Product Lifecycle Management
Plan and implement product release activities, ensuring smooth transitions from engineering to manufacturing on time. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including new product introductions, sustaining updates, and End of Life phases. Communicate key milestones and urgent issues affecting program execution to Product Teams and senior leadership.
BOM Architecture & Data Governance
Create, maintain, and manage BOMs for various system configurations within the Fusion environment. Serve as the authoritative source for product structure and configuration management. Manage manufacturing parts with precise attribution, utilizing data from both internal teams and external suppliers. Ensure BOM accuracy and compliance with engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements.
Change Management Leadership
Lead cross-functional Change Management teams to effectively evaluate and implement product changes. Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Manufacturer Change Orders (MCOs), ensuring clarity and precision in communications with product teams. Establish governance processes that balance product enhancements with manufacturing stability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Excellence
Coordinate efforts to resolve complex issues across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams. Collaborate with contract manufacturers to ensure smooth product transitions and ongoing support. Develop training materials to standardize processes and enhance team expertise. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product data management and release processes.
Leadership & Mentorship
Set strategic objectives, accurately estimating resources and time for initiatives. Mentor Business Analysts and product team members on best practices in BOM management and change control. Establish standards for product data management across the organization.
Required Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in product lifecycle management or BOM management. Proven expertise with complex product structures in enterprise systems, particularly Oracle Cloud or Fusion. Successful track record in managing Engineering Change Orders and cross-functional change processes.
Technical Skills
In-depth knowledge of BOM structures and configuration management. Strong proficiency with Oracle Fusion or similar ERP systems. Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and methodologies. Understanding of hardware manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.

The US hiring range for this role is $75,000 to $178,100 per annum, with the potential for bonuses and equity.
