Overview The Inside Sales Manager is a key leadership position that will be responsible for leading, developing and managing our team of Account Managers for our OEM regions in the US. This critical role will ensure their team delivers an exceptional customer experience which drives customer success. This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales targets. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for driving results with a high degree of urgency and will be a champion of our Entrusted Partner mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop and manage the Account Manager team to achieve sales goals through developing new business and having a consistent approach in business recovery and product expansion within existing customers.
Champion, train and implement our Entrusted Partner approach throughout the team and ensure the team is accountable through their actions and feedback.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to support the business’ organizational strategies.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify and drive areas for improvement.
Accountable for providing regular coaching and feedback to team members.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives around processes, systems, etc.
Drive operational excellence within the Account Manager teams to ensure alignment with OEM strategies.
Proactively make outreach calls to customers to ensure they are having an Entrusted Partner experience with IEWC.
Proactively monitor customer inventory levels and coordinate adjustments with Materials Management team.
Supports sales leadership in forecasting for large, regional customers.
Ensure the team understands and evaluates a customer’s share of wallet vs. our competitors.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate value to customers.
Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
Support existing supplier relationships and assist in the development of new relationships to expand the team’s product knowledge and meet customer needs.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or a combination of experience and education.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Outcome-focused. Ability to drive the team for results.
Ability to assess, attract, develop and retain talent.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong ability to utilize tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and other Company specific programs.
