Overview
The Marketing Digital Specialist is a high-impact, creative role responsible for the visual and digital execution of Frontwave Credit Union’s marketing strategy. This position serves as an in-house graphic designer and digital content manager, focused on creating high-quality collateral, engaging social media assets, and seamless website experiences that acquire, retain, and deepen Member relationships. As a digital storyteller, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and creative narrative—crafting compelling visuals and copy that highlight Frontwave’s impact on its Members and the community. This role also provides essential support to the Frontwave Foundation, managing digital content and communication efforts to expand the organization’s philanthropic reach. Ultimately, you are the guardian of the brand’s digital presence, ensuring every touchpoint—from an email campaign to a branch poster—is consistent, professional, and innovative.

Creative Design & Brand Identity
In-House Creative: Design a wide range of marketing assets, including branch signage, ATM screens, direct mailers, and digital display ads.
Brand Stewardship: Ensure every design—from a social media post to a Foundation golf tournament invite—adheres to Frontwave’s brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent look and feel across all Member touchpoints.
Asset Production: Prepare "print-ready" files for vendors and optimize digital assets for fast loading and high resolution on mobile and web.
Digital Content & CMS Management
Website Mastery: Perform routine updates to the Frontwave website via the CMS, including updating rates, launching landing pages for new promotions, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Social Media Visuals: Collaborate with the marketing team to create "scroll-stopping" graphics, short-form videos, or infographics that humanize the brand and highlight Member success stories.
Email Marketing Execution: Build and deploy high-performing email templates for newsletters, product announcements, and automated Member journeys.
Frontwave Foundation Support
Philanthropic Storytelling: Act as the digital voice for the Foundation by creating compelling visuals and copy that showcase our community impact and charitable events.
Donor & Grant Communications: Design and distribute digital newsletters for the Foundation and assist in the layout and submission of visual-heavy grant proposals and annual reports.
Event Promotion: Create integrated marketing "kits" for Foundation events, including digital registration pages, social media headers, and physical event collateral.
Project Coordination & Collaboration
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with the Branch Operations and Lending teams to ensure their local marketing needs (posters, flyers, digital lobby signs) are met with high-quality creative.
Workflow Management: Manage your own design queue using project management tools to ensure all deadlines are met for campaign launches.
Process Innovation: Suggest and implement new digital tools or design shortcuts to improve the speed and quality of our creative output.
Qualifications Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field, including Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
5+ years marketing digital and graphic experience.
2+ years’ experience working with marketing agencies, media buyers, public relations, and digital marketing.
Experience with event marketing, experiential marketing, and retail merchandising.
Well-developed project management skills with knowledge of campaign development process including familiarity with all types of marketing communications from print to digital.
Preferred Education and Experience :
Experience in financial services
Marketing agency, creative direction and/or designer experience
Experience working in world-class hospitality or consumer bran
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of PC, internet, office productivity packages, design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, website content management systems, email marketing and automation software, and CRM systems.
Must possess an excellent eye for design and the ability to deliver messages in a clear, concise way. Must be a curious and a critical thinker with knowledge of both the creative and analytical side of marketing. Demonstrated ability to manage the creation and distribution of marketing communication collaterals to extend existing branding. Ability to understand business objectives, incorporate feedback, and produce solutions that communicate clearly and represent the brand. Must be excellent at communication & presentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to rigid timelines on multiple projects.
Salary Range: $30.66/hr - $46.00/hr
