What you'll do... As a Senior Tax Training Support Specialist you will process requests to set up or adjust H&R Block Tax Training School course offerings and resolve tax professional and field management inquiries and concerns regarding federal and state registration requirements as well as company certification and education requirements via case, phone, and email.
Day to day, you’ll…
Process requests to set up or adjust Tax Training School classes
Maintain tax professional training and certification records and facilitate compliance with federal and state licensing and registration requirements
Process reimbursement requests for federal and state licensing and registration requirements
Research Continuing Education and Certification inquiries and resolve any issues
Communicate via phone and email
Interpret client needs and utilize software programs to identify possible resolutions for issues
Follow established procedures to resolve issues regarding Tax Training School courses
Use software programs and computer systems to accurately document, research, and resolve issues
Attend training sessions and participate in meetings related to the effective and efficient performance of job duties
Identify issues with current processes and notify management of potential concerns and solutions
Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures for daily tasks
Maintain standard service level agreements
Other duties as assigned
What you'll bring to the team...
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work effectively with strict deadlines, in a fast paced, high volume environment
Ability to work independently or on a team
Analytical and detail oriented
Experience using Microsoft Office tools
2 years minimum related work experience
Oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Possess problem solving skills
Prior experience with H&R Block Tax Training Support (or Learning and Development) programs and procedures
It would be even better if you also had...
1-3 years administrative experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
Experience with (or knowledge of) our internal systems, including Block Academy (Cornerstone), Workday, Service Now, and SalesForce

Pay Range Information The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.
